Paleowinus rex
Taxonomy
Paleowinus rex was named by Solodovnikov and Yue (2013). Its type specimen is CNU-COL-LB2008212, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Huangbanjigou, Chaomidian Village, CNU 2008 collection, which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Yixian Formation of China. It is the type species of Paleowinus.
