Lusitanichthys africanus

Taxonomy
Lusitanichthys africanus was named by Cavin (1999). It is not extant. Its type specimen is BHN 2P40, a skeleton. Its type locality is Daoura, which is in a Cenomanian marginal marine sandstone in Morocco. It is the type species of Lusitanichthys.
