Casaleia inversa
Taxonomy
Protamblyopone inversa was named by Dlussky (1981). Its type specimen is PIN 1295/3, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Chon-Tuz, Kochkorskiy region (PIN collection 1295), which is in a Miocene/Miocene terrestrial siliciclastic in Kyrgyzstan. It is the type species of Protamblyopone, Casaleia.
It was recombined as Casaleia inversa by Pagliano and Scaramozzino (1990), Bolton (2012) and Dlussky and Wedmann (2012).
