Bocaconodon tamaulipensis
Taxonomy
Bocaconodon tamaulipensis was named by Montellano et al. (2008). Its type specimen is IGM 6617, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jim's Joy, Huizachal Canyon, which is in a Pliensbachian floodplain horizon in the La Boca Formation of Mexico. It is the type species of Bocaconodon.
