Taxonomy
Brouwerites stotti was named by Tozer (1994). Its type specimen is GSC 28710 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 52233, Nevis Creek, which is in an Alaunian marine siliciclastic in the Pardonet Formation of Canada.
