Taxonomy
Neohimavatites peregrinus was named by Tozer (1994). Its type specimen is GSC 28878 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 74777, Mount Wright, which is in an Alaunian marine siliciclastic in the Pardonet Formation of Canada.
