Taxonomy
Parathetidites robustus was named by Tozer (1994). Its type specimen is GSC 35312 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Locality XIX, Pardonet Hill (GSC 9632), which is in the Alaunian of horizon the Pardonet Formation Canada.
