Taxonomy
Clydonites pacificus was named by Tozer (1994). Its type specimen is GSC 28833 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 20255, Union Island, which is in an Alaunian marine siliciclastic in the Parson Bay Formation of Canada.
