Taxonomy
Anatropites silberlingi was named by Tozer (1994). Its type specimen is GSC 71028 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 94738, Mount Laurier, which is in a Tuvalian marine siliciclastic in the Ludington Formation of Canada.
