Taxonomy
Tropiceltites pacificus was named by Tozer (1994). Its type specimen is GSC 85787 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC C-157119, Huxley Island, which is in a Tuvalian marine horizon in the Peril Formation of Canada.
