Taxonomy
Juvavites (Anatomites) humi was named by McLearn (1937). Its type specimen is GSC 8799 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Brown Hill (Pardonet) (GSC 9157), which is in the Lacian of horizon the Pardonet Formation Canada.

It was recombined as Griesbachites humi by Tozer (1994).

  • Juvavites (Griesbachites) caurinus was named by McLearn (1947). Its type specimen is GSC 9489 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 9851, Brown Hill, which is in a Lacian marine siliciclastic in the Pardonet Formation of Canada.

    It was synonymized subjectively with Griesbachites humi by Tozer (1994).
