Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
J. O. R. Ebbestad et al. 2013A small species of Lophospira with a trilineate band that has equally thin bordering and medial lirae. The medial lira protrudes less from the band in late ontogeny than it does in early ontogeny.

Shell small, less than 1 cm high, moderately high spired with eight whorls. The apical angle is ∼50˚. Whorl overlap is at lower one-sixth of whorl. Right ramp is inclined 40˚ with a weakly concave profile. At the suture a strong, rounded spiral lira is developed, delimiting the incised suture. Periphery is at mid whorl and dominated by a trilineate spiral band that occupies one-third of whorl height. The bordering lirae of the band are strong and sharp, with a tendency to form a frill in late ontogeny. The medial spiral lira is thin, but strong and rounded, positioned medially on the band and protruding between weakly concave interareas. The medial lira protrudes from the band in early ontogeny, but protrudes less in late ontogeny so that the band is nearly flat in profile. A weak but sharp spiral line is developed on the lower part of the left ramp. Whorl profile of left and right ramp evenly concave, with periphery at mid whorl. Overlap of whorls slight, new whorls embracing older whorls at the lower half of the left ramp so that the peripheral band is visible in its entire width. Ornamentation consists of fine growth lines. Shell is thin.
