Monshyus praevius

Taxonomy
Monshyus praevius was named by Sudre and Russell (1982). Its type specimen is IRSNB M1970, a tooth (Left M1 or M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hainin well vertebrate fauna, which is in a Danian lacustrine claystone in the Hainin Formation of Belgium. It is the type species of Monshyus.
