Taxonomy
Todralestes butleri was named by Gheerbrant (1993). Its type specimen is NTG 2-32, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is N'Tagourt 2, which is in a Ypresian terrestrial marl in the Ait Ouarhitane Formation of Morocco.
