Blezingeria ichthyospondylus
Taxonomy
Nothosaurus ichthyospondylus was named by Fraas (1896). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Muschelkalk-Bonebed, Crailsheim, which is in a Triassic marine horizon in Germany.
It was recombined as Blezingeria ichthyospondyla by von Huene (1951); it was recombined as Blezingeria ichthyospondylus by Kuhn (1971).
