Taxonomy
Myophoria micrasiatica was named by Bittner (1891). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Balia (Spirigera beds), which is in a Triassic marine sandstone in Turkey.

It was recombined as Guineana micrasiatica by Skwarko (1967).
