Guineana jimiensis

Taxonomy
Guineana jimiensis was named by Skwarko (1967). Its type specimen is CPC 5067, a valve (left valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is H782, Bombu Creek, which is in a Carnian marine siliciclastic in the Jimi Formation of Papua New Guinea. It is the type species of Guineana.
