Cricotriporites guianensis was named by Leidelmeyer (1966) [Botanical affinity: Apocynaceae. Type Mandevilla angustifolia (Malme) Woodson.]. It is considered to be a form taxon. It is a 3D fossil preserving soft parts. It is the type species of Cricotriporites.
