Haloragacidites trioratus was named by Couper (1953) [Botanical affinity: Haloragaceae: Halogaris or Myriophyllum (Mildenhall and Harris, 1971)]. It is considered to be a form taxon. It is a 3D fossil preserving soft parts. It is the type species of Haloragacidites.
