Somareoides hastatus

Bivalvia - Cardiida - Kalenteridae

Taxonomy
Permophorus hastatus was named by Skwarko (1967). Its type specimen is CPC 5099, a valve (right valve), and it is a mold. Its type locality is H176, 3 miles west of Gebal, which is in a Carnian marine siliciclastic in the Jimi Formation of Papua New Guinea. It is the type species of Somareoides.

It was recombined as Somareoides hastatus by Skwarko (1983).
