Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
S. Archangelsky 1973Grano prolado a subprolado.
L. R. Mautino and L. M. Anzótegui 2002Pollen grain prolate to sub-spheroidal. Colpi almost reaching the poles with ridges more developed in the equatorial region. Ora lalongate (2-5μm X 3.5-7.5 μm), sometimes obscured. Exine tectate formed by two layers. Nexine of the same thickness or thiner than sexine. Columellae forming an homogeneous microreticulum with lumina of approximately 0.5 μm or less in diameter. Smooth tectum. Exine of uniform thickness (1-1.5 μm) or slightly thicker at poles, where the columellae are slightly higher.
