Squalus latidens

Taxonomy
Centrophoroides latidens was named by Davis (1887). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sahil Alma (BMNH collection), which is in a Santonian carbonate lime mudstone in Lebanon. It is the type species of Centrophoroides.

It was recombined as Acanthias latidens by Woodward (1889); it was recombined as Squalus latidens by Herman (1977).
