Copodus lingua

Taxonomy
Mesogomphus lingua was named by Davis (1883). Its type specimen is BMNH P.2500, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Armagh, Ireland (BMNH), which is in a Mississippian marine limestone in the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Copodus lingua by Woodward (1889).
