Yunnanodon brevirostre
Taxonomy
Yunnania brevirostre was named by Cui (1976). Its type specimen is IVPP V 5071, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tawa, Lufeng (Heiguopeng), which is in a Sinemurian terrestrial horizon in the Lufeng Formation of China.
It was recombined as Yunnanodon brevirostre by Cui (1986), Luo and Wu (1994) and Li and Sun (2008).
