Tropidophorus bavaricus

Taxonomy
Tropidophorus bavaricus was named by Böhme (2010). Its type specimen is BSPG 1959 II 16395, a mandible (left dentary), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sandelzhausen gravel pit, which is in a Langhian fluvial-lacustrine marl/mudstone in the Upper Freshwater Molasse Formation of Germany.
