Taxonomy
Turcica wareni was named by Kaim (2004). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gnaszyn, Czestochowa region, Slaskie, which is in a Bathonian transition zone/lower shoreface claystone in Poland. It is the type species of Pseudoturcica.

It was recombined as Pseudoturcica wareni by Bandel (2010).
