Taxonomy
Wortheniella ruedigeri was named by Schwardt (1992). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Misurina, which is in a Julian shallow subtidal limestone in the Cassian Formation of Italy.
It was recombined as Bandelium ruedigeri by Bandel (2009) and Nützel and Kaim (2014).
