Socognathus brachyodon
Taxonomy
Socognathus brachyodon was named by Longrich et al. (2012). Its type specimen is YPM-PU 16724, a mandible (dentary ), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Polecat Bench: Lance, which is in a Lancian terrestrial horizon in the Lance Formation of Wyoming.
