Taxonomy
Lamiasaura ferox was named by Longrich et al. (2013). Its type specimen is UW 25116B (left dentary) and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Robber's Roost (UW V-79032), which is in a Lancian fluvial mudstone in the Lance Formation of Wyoming.
