Eopneumatosuchus colberti was named by Bronzati et al. (2012). It is not extant. Its type locality is MCZ 79A/7, Eopneumatosuchus type locality, which is in a Sinemurian/Pliensbachian fluvial siltstone/sandstone in the Kayenta Formation of Arizona.
