Scyliorhinus elongatus

Taxonomy
Thyellina elongata was named by Davis (1887). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sahil Alma (Lewis collection), which is in a Santonian carbonate lime mudstone in Lebanon.

It was recombined as Scyllium elongatum by Woodward (1889); it was recombined as Scyliorhinus elongatus by Halter (1995), Noubhani and Cappetta (1997), Underwood and Ward (2008) and Feichtinger et al. (2024).
