Taxonomy
Tricuspisaurus thomasi was named by Robinson (1957). Its type specimen is BMNH R6106, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ruthin Quarry, which is in a Rhaetian fissure fill limestone/sandstone in the United Kingdom.
