Berruchelus russelli

Taxonomy
Berruchelus russelli was named by Pérez-García (2012). Its type specimen is MNHN.F.BR 9110, a partial shell (Nuchal plate), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mont Berru, which is in a Thanetian fluvial conglomerate in the Sables de Bracheux Formation of France.

It was recombined as Compsemys russelli by Joyce and Anquetin (2019).
