Hutchemys arctochelys
Taxonomy
Hutchemys arctochelys was named by Joyce et al. (2009). Its type specimen is YPM PU 16319, a shell (Nearly complete carapace), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Burns Mine (Bear Creek), which is in a Clarkforkian terrestrial horizon in the Fort Union Formation of Montana.
It was synonymized subjectively with Plastomenoides lamberti by Hutchison (2009).
