Carbonemys cofrinii

Taxonomy
Carbonemys cofrinii was named by Cadena et al. (2012). Its type specimen is UF/IGM 41, a skull (Nearly complete skull), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is La Puente Pit, which is in a Paleocene/Paleocene delta plain claystone/sandstone in the Cerrejón Formation of Colombia.
