Arcanosaurus ibericus

Taxonomy
Arcanosaurus ibericus was named by Houssaye et al. (2013). Its type specimen is MDS-VJ 5, a set of vertebrae (Mid-dorsal vertebra), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Viajete, which is in a Barremian/Aptian floodplain claystone/sandstone in the Castrillo de la Reina Formation of Spain. It is the type species of Arcanosaurus.
