Lariosaurus valceresii

Taxonomy
Lariosaurus valceresii was named by Tintori and Renesto (1990). Its type specimen is Museo Civico di Szienze Naturali di Induno Olona (P 500), a skeleton (complete skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cà del Frate, Viggiù, Monte San Giorgio, which is in a Longobardian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Meride Formation of Italy.
