Neoxyelula micron

Taxonomy
Neoxyelula micron was named by Rasnitsyn (1993). Its type specimen is PIN 3064/1925, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Baissa (PIN collection 3064, bed 31), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large marl/siltstone in the Zaza Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Neoxyelula.
