Taxonomy
Trematothorax ingodensis was named by Rasnitsyn (1993). Its type specimen is PIN 2385/2395, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Pad Semen (PIN collection 2385), which is in an Aptian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Argun Formation of the Russian Federation.
