Taxonomy
Persia hallami was named by Yin and McRoberts (2006). Its type specimen is CUGB3080c and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Level A1, Section A - Germig, Tibet, which is in a Planorbis marine sandstone/siltstone in the Germig Formation of China.
