Taxonomy
Gibbirhynchia micra was named by Ager (1954). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Old quarry near the Yew Tree Inn, Dursley (lower Marlstone), which is in a Spinatum carbonate limestone in the Marlstone Rock Formation of the United Kingdom.
