Macroplacus raeticus
Taxonomy
Macroplacus raeticus was named by Schubert and Klempnauer (1975). Its type specimen is BSP 1967 I 324, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hinterstein near Hindelang im Allgäu, which is in a Rhaetian marine horizon in the Koessen Formation of Germany.
