Australerpeton cosgriffi

Taxonomy
Australerpeton cosgriffi was named by Barberena (1998). Its type specimen is IG-UFRGS PV 0227 P(G), a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Serra do Cadeado, Central Parana Railway (EFCP), which is in a Wordian/Wuchiapingian fluvial siltstone in the Rio do Rasto Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Australerpeton.
