Taxonomy
Burmoselis evelynae was named by Shcherbakov (2000). Its type specimen is NHM In.20193, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber (Swinhoe collection, BMNH), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar. It is the type species of Burmoselis.
