Taxonomy
Sinorhagio sinuatus was named by Zhang (2013). Its type specimen is NIGP DHG201056, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (NIGP collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.
