Sharasargus oresbius

Taxonomy
Pauromyia oresbia was named by Ren (1998). Its type specimen is GMCB LB97022, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Near Chaomidian Village (GMC Beijing coll), which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Yixian Formation of China. It is the type species of Pauromyia.

It was recombined as Sharasargus oresbius by Zhang (2013) and Zhang (2014); it was misspelled as Pauromyia orebesia by Grimaldi and Barden (2016).
