Chambius kasserinensis
Taxonomy
Chambius kasserinensis was named by Hartenberger (1986). Its type specimen is CBI-1-6, a maxilla, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jebel Chambi, which is in a Ypresian/Lutetian lacustrine limestone in the Chambi Formation of Tunisia. It is the type species of Chambius.
