Microtypus hooleyi
Taxonomy
Diospiloides hooleyi was named by Cockerell (1921). Its type specimen is BMNH H. 882, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bembridge Marls (Hooley coll), which is in a Priabonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Bouldnor Formation of the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Microtypus hooleyi by Belokobylskij (2014).
