Mioedipoda reisereri

Taxonomy
Mioedipoda reisereri was named by Stidham and Stidham (2000). Its type specimen is UCMP151416, an exoskeleton (tegmen and partial thorax), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Buffalo Canyon, which is in a Burdigalian lacustrine shale in the Buffalo Canyon Formation of Nevada. It is the type species of Mioedipoda.
