Epyris rectinervis

Taxonomy
Mesitius rectinervis was named by Cockerell (1921). Its type specimen is BMNH I. 9352, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bembridge Marls (Brodie coll), which is in a Priabonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Bouldnor Formation of the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Epyris rectinervis by Sorg (1988), Perrichot and Nel (2008), Azevedo and Azar (2012) and Azevedo et al. (2018).
